Programme: Programme "Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises" 2021-2027

Planning region: All

Description

The project aims to improve energy efficiency and increase the share of renewable energy in the activities of LIN PARTNERS Ltd. This will be achieved through the installation of two high-efficiency air-to-air heat pumps for heating and cooling of the service workshop and the construction of a 25 kW photovoltaic power plant for self-consumption. The investment will be implemented at the company’s own site in Vratsa, East Industrial Zone, where a workshop for repair and maintenance of the company’s trucks and transport vehicles is operating.

Currently, the workshop is heated with inefficient electric stoves with high energy consumption, which leads to significant costs and unfavorable working conditions. The new investment will address the need for energy-efficient heating and cooling, reduced energy expenses, and provision of an optimal working environment.

The target group of the project includes the employees of the service workshop, who will benefit from improved comfort and a stable indoor climate, as well as the company itself, which will reduce its dependence on external energy suppliers and improve its competitiveness.

The main activities cover the delivery, installation and commissioning of heat pumps and the photovoltaic system, testing, staff training, and the introduction of monitoring for the generated and consumed energy.

The measures are in line with the List of eligible assets (heat pumps, PV systems), the de minimis aid regime and the Do No Significant Harm (DNSH) principle.

- Expected results:

- Reduction of purchased electricity for HVAC;

- Substitution of part of the consumption with renewable energy;

- Lower energy costs and reduced carbon footprint;

- Increased energy independence and resilience to price fluctuations;

- Improved working conditions in the workshop.
