Description

The project proposal by PIPE INDUSTRIAL BULGARIA Ltd. is aimed at increasing the energy independence, efficiency, and sustainability of the company's manufacturing activities through the implementation of a renewable energy generation system and the acquisition of a chiller for cooling the production. The investment will be carried out at the company's production site in Samokov, where production of plastic sheets, plates, pipes, and profiles takes place.
As part of the project implementation, a photovoltaic system with a minimum installed capacity of 100 kWp. The main objective of the investment is to reduce electricity consumption from the external grid, optimize energy costs, and minimize the environmental impact of the company’s operations.
The project will contribute to enhancing the company’s competitiveness by achieving more sustainable production processes based on efficient resource use and the integration of green technologies. Its implementation will ensure greater predictability and stability of energy supply, improve the company’s environmental profile, and reduce its carbon footprint.
The planned implementation measures are fully aligned with the objectives of Procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 “Support for the Implementation of Renewable Energy for Own Consumption in Enterprises”, as well as with the priorities of the Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises Programme 2021–2027, focused on the transition toward a circular and low-carbon economy. Through the realization of this project, PIPE INDUSTRIAL BULGARIA Ltd. will take an important step toward energy independence and sustainable production, combining economic efficiency with environmental responsibility.
