Description

"City Hotels Management" Ltd. manages the largest hotel complex in the city of Shumen - "Grand Hotel Shumen". In recent years, the sharp increase in the price of electricity and the high energy intensity of hotel accommodation have had a significant impact on the costs and efficiency of "City Hotels Management" Ltd. activities. A significant part of the energy is used for heating, cooling, lighting, providing hot water, operating kitchen and service equipment, as well as maintaining a comfortable environment for the guests of "Grand Hotel Shumen". This leads to an increase in operating costs and a decrease in the company's competitiveness in the highly dynamic tourism sector. In order to reduce its energy dependence and improve the sustainability of the business, "City Hotels Management" Ltd. envisages the implementation of the current project for the purchase and installation of photovoltaic modules with inverters with a operational capacity of 54 kW. The system will be designed to produce electricity for its own consumption in the hotel complex, helping to optimize electricity costs and increase energy efficiency. The implementation of the project will lead to a significant reduction in electricity consumption from the external network, to a reduction in carbon emissions and to an increase in the company's competitiveness through sustainable resource management. The investment made will contribute to reducing the environmental footprint and will support the commitment of "City Hotels Management" Ltd. to the implementation of good practices in the field of green energy and corporate social responsibility. In this way, the company will continue to establish itself as a responsible employer and an innovative economic and tourism operator, which not only ensures long-term employment and stable jobs in the region, but also actively contributes to achieving the goals of the national and European policy for energy efficiency and sustainable development.
