Ever Socks is a company with over 25 years of experience in sock manufacturing, with production entirely based in Bulgaria and established markets in Europe and Asia. A photovoltaic (PV) installation (≈120 kW) has been commissioned at the site in Sliven, covering part of the internal electricity consumption. The proposal envisages the purchase and integration of a Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) with a nominal power of 110 kW in order to increase self-consumption and optimise the energy profile. The investment falls under Item 15 – Local energy storage facilities (batteries in combination with inverters) and includes delivery, installation, testing, and commissioning. The procurement foresees new equipment compliant with applicable standards and the technical requirements of the Ministry of Innovation and Growth (MIR). The electricity generated and stored will be used exclusively for self-consumption throughout the entire sustainability period. Expected results: a higher self-consumption ratio of the available PV energy, reduced price volatility and more predictable energy costs, improved operational resilience of production, and a measurable environmental impact through a higher effective share of renewable energy.
