The project proposal of “BOHOROV CONSULT” Ltd. is aimed at improving the company’s energy efficiency and reducing its energy intensity through the implementation of modern, energy-efficient, and environmentally sustainable solutions in its plastic products manufacturing operations. The production processes are continuous and highly dependent on electricity, resulting in high energy intensity and sensitivity to fluctuations in energy prices. To enhance energy performance, the enterprise plans to implement the following investments: - Construction of a photovoltaic power plant (PV system) with an installed capacity of 18 kW for self-consumption, which will provide a stable source of renewable energy and reduce electricity costs; - Conventional air compressor with integrated dryer (main motor power 5.6 kW) and a compressed-air receiver with a capacity of 1,000 litres, which will improve the efficiency of pneumatic systems, reduce energy losses, and ensure reliable operation of production lines; - Two air-to-air heat pumps with a heating capacity of 10 kW each, ensuring energy-efficient heating and cooling of the premises and contributing to the overall reduction of energy consumption. The implementation of the project will lead to a decrease in electricity consumption, optimization of production costs, improvement of the microclimate in production areas, and a reduction of the company’s carbon footprint. The investment will provide higher energy independence, sustainable production, and increased competitiveness of the enterprise, in line with the objectives of the European Green Deal and the national policies for energy efficiency and green transition. The project will support “BOHOROV CONSULT” Ltd. in its transition towards environmentally responsible, energy-efficient, and low-carbon production, ensuring long-term sustainability and operational stability.
