The investment project for the energy modernisation of “YOMI” Ltd. is planned to be implemented at two retail sites in Veliki Preslav. The aim is to reduce final energy consumption, stabilise costs, and enhance operational resilience through on-site energy generation and efficient lighting. At Site 1 (owned), 45 “Boris Spirov” St., a photovoltaic self-consumption system will be installed (behind the meter, without batteries) together with high-efficiency LED lighting. These measures will cover a significant share of the site’s daytime electrical load and reduce the base consumption for lighting. At Site 2 (leased), 6A “Al. Stamboliyski” Sq., linear LED luminaires will be installed to reduce electricity use and improve visual comfort across the retail area. The combination of measures addresses the main energy costs at both addresses—electricity for retail loads and lighting—leading to a sustainably lower cost of operations, a more stable energy profile, and better predictability of cash flows. The project will be implemented in compliance with applicable technical standards for electrical and fire safety and environmental protection, including the “Do No Significant Harm” (DNSH) principle. The expected effect is a measurable reduction in final energy consumption and emissions, increased operational reliability, and higher comfort for customers and staff, supporting the long-term competitiveness of “YOMI” Ltd.
