Description

DiGies Ltd. operates in the sector KID 55.10 Hotels and similar accommodation and manages and manages the "Selena Beach" hotel in the town of Sozopol. Over the years, the company has invested in maintenance and renovation of the material base and installation of photovoltaic panels for the production of electricity for its own needs. Despite its stable presence on the market, its activities were affected by the economic consequences of the COVID-19 pandemic, which led to a sharp decrease in tourist traffic and an increase in basic costs for energy, materials and services, which limited investment opportunities. This brought to the forefront the need to modernize the energy infrastructure and optimize energy resources.
The project plans to implement innovative solutions to improve energy efficiency and reduce operating costs through:
- delivery and installation of a VRV/VRF heat pump system to provide energy-efficient heating and cooling of hotel rooms;
- installation of an "air-to-water" heat pump for heating an outdoor pool;
- introduction of local energy storage facilities (battery) with an inverter, with a storage capacity of 30 kWh, allowing storage of electricity produced for own needs from the available one, built by the candidate FtVC,
for better management of the energy balance and reduction of the load on the electricity distribution network.
Main activities: 1. Organization and preparation for the implementation of the project.
2. Delivery of high-efficiency heat pumps for heating, cooling of premises and heating of an outdoor pool.
3. Delivery of a battery system with a storage capacity of 30 kWh, incl. inverter.
4. Information and publicity activities
The implementation of the project will lead to increased energy efficiency, reduction of operating costs, improvement of sustainability and offering a more environmentally friendly tourist product, achieving a contribution to the objectives of the procedure and the national energy policy.
