“MISTRAL HOLIDAYS” Ltd. is an established company with many years of experience in the tourism sector and hospitality industry. The primary objective of the current project is to improve the energy efficiency and sustainability of the facility through the installation of a photovoltaic system for self-consumption, combined with an energy storage system (batteries). The project aims to reduce electricity costs and limit dependence on energy market price fluctuations, thereby enhancing the company’s competitiveness and financial stability. At the same time, it will achieve a significant reduction in the carbon footprint and contribute to the fulfillment of national and European objectives for the transition to climate neutrality. By implementing renewable energy sources, the energy consumption of the hotel infrastructure—lighting, air conditioning, heating, ventilation, and other technical systems—will be optimized. This will ensure stability of the services offered and long-term sustainability. The energy storage system will allow balanced utilization of the generated electricity, minimizing challenges associated with the intermittent nature of renewable energy production. The investment fully complies with the “do no significant harm” principle regarding the environment and will support the company’s ecological transition. Expected results include: - significant reduction of energy costs and carbon intensity; - increased share of energy from renewable sources; - enhanced competitiveness of “MISTRAL HOLIDAYS” Ltd. and ensuring sustainable development.
