The project of "OPTAPLUS BG" AD aims to increase energy efficiency and reduce the carbon footprint of an enterprise with main activity under EAC-2008: 26.70 "Manufacture of optical devices and elements and photographic equipment". The company is an established manufacturer of optical and fine-mechanical components and systems. The enterprise works according to the international standards DIN 3140, ISO 10110 and MIL, offering complete optical solutions - from development and design to serial production. The high technological complexity of the activity requires precise maintenance of microclimate and stable energy parameters in the production premises. The current project envisages the implementation of modern heating, cooling and ventilation systems, which will ensure sustainable and energy-efficient management of the production infrastructure. The planned investments include: 4 heat pumps type VRF/VRV system of direct evaporation - highly efficient air conditioning systems for heating and cooling; 5 recuperative units for heating, ventilation and cooling (recuperators) - for the recovery of heat from the exhaust air; 4 solar systems for hot water and domestic hot water supply with flat solar collectors; 4 air-to-water heat pumps using energy from the air for heating and domestic hot water. The implementation of the project will lead to a reduction in energy consumption, optimization of production conditions and reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. Through this investment, the enterprise will achieve higher resource efficiency, lower operating costs and sustainable development, in full compliance with the objectives of the procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 "Energy Efficiency" and the principle of "doing no significant harm" (DNSH).
