Description

The project proposal aims to implement energy efficiency measures in the company "Preslava" EOOD, Karlovo. The company specializes in the field of catering and hotel management and has a tourist complex in Karlovo, Pliska Street No. 5. The complex includes a hotel in the Bulgarian Renaissance style, a winery, a restaurant and a spa center. "Preslava" EOOD also manages a mother kitchen, which supplies ready-made food to sites in the region and offers a wide range of catering services. At the time of application, the average number of employed personnel amounted to 60 people with a growing trend.
The activities proposed in the project provide for the installation and commissioning of a photovoltaic power plant /PVPP/ with a capacity of 50 kW, including solar panels, inverters, batteries and other components necessary for the operation of the plant. The implementation of this energy-efficient solution aims to significantly optimize energy costs, prevent the risk of accidents in the complex and extend its service life. The implementation of the project will have a positive effect on the local economy by achieving safer working conditions and saving costs for heating and cooling the hotel and spa center and the operation of the restaurant section. This gives the candidate company a market advantage, while at the same time establishing it as a model for energy-efficient infrastructure. Improved energy efficiency is expected to lead to reduced carbon emissions and more sustainable resource management. The total budget of the project proposal amounts to 136,358.50 leva. The activities included in it will be implemented within twelve months.
