The project is aimed at increasing energy efficiency and using energy from renewable sources through the supply and installation of a local energy storage facility (battery system) in combination with an inverter with a capacity of 225 kWh, which will be installed at the already built by the company FtEC. Currently, a significant part of the energy produced is not optimally utilized. The reasons are the intermittent nature of solar production and the lack of the ability to store excess energy. This leads to: - inability to balance the load and higher costs during peak hours; - partial utilization of own production; - dependence on external energy suppliers during periods without solar production. To guarantee energy independence and optimize electricity costs, it is planned to implement a battery with a capacity of 225 kWh. The battery will provide load balancing, reduction of peak power and the ability to use stored energy during periods without sunlight or at higher electricity prices. The investment aims to increase the energy independence of the enterprise and optimize electricity costs by balancing the load and storing energy produced by RES. The project is fully consistent with the objectives of the procedure "Energy efficiency and use of energy from renewable sources in enterprises", and will contribute to accelerating the enterprise's transition to climate neutrality by reducing the carbon footprint, optimizing energy consumption through: - Reducing carbon emissions through the use of clean energy; - Increasing the energy independence and sustainability of the enterprise; - Significantly optimizing electricity costs and reducing vulnerability to fluctuations in energy prices; - Improving the competitiveness and sustainable development of the enterprise.
