Description

The project of "Prolife Technology" EOOD envisages the implementation of measures to increase energy efficiency on the territory of the company. The company carries out its main activity under KID 23.32 "Manufacture of bricks, tiles and other baked clay products for construction". With the aim of sustainable development and reducing energy costs, the project proposal includes the purchase and commissioning of a local energy storage facility (battery) in combination with inverters, whereby it will be a suitable and useful addition to the FPP already available in the enterprise, which is used entirely for its own needs. The wishes of the enterprise are in line with the objectives of this procedure, since with this investment it aims to implement a battery in order to ensure more efficient use of RES - when the FPP is not operating due to lack of sunlight - to use the energy in the batteries. The implementation of these measures will lead to a significant reduction in energy consumption from non-renewable sources, improving the energy efficiency of the production process and increasing the competitiveness of the enterprise.
The expected results of the project implementation include: reduction of energy consumption and related operating costs; increase of energy efficiency in the main production and support activities; improvement of the working environment; reduction of the carbon footprint of the enterprise.
The investment is in full compliance with the principle of "doing no significant harm" (DNSH) on the environment, meets all applicable environmental standards and contributes to the achievement of energy efficiency and sustainable growth goals at national and European level. By implementing this project, the enterprise will increase its resource efficiency, improve the sustainability of its production and adapt to modern requirements for a low-carbon and energy-efficient economy.
