The main activity of “Ecorepak” Ltd. is the collection, storage, pre-treatment and recycling of ferrous and non-ferrous metal waste, end-of-life motor vehicles (ELVs), waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE), waste batteries and accumulators (WBA), as well as waste from metal packaging. In addition to its core activities, the company also carries out the collection, storage, pre-treatment and trading of paper, plastic, nylon and glass waste. Through this project, the company plans investments related to the use of renewable energy sources for improving energy efficiency, which will not only support the prevention of climate change but will also reduce dependence on fossil fuel and electricity prices. Taking these factors into account, “Ecorepak” Ltd. has developed this project proposal, which foresees the implementation of a photovoltaic power plant (PVPP) with an installed capacity of 60 kW, enabling efficient production, storage and management of the generated electricity. These solutions will lead to the optimization of the site’s energy consumption, reduce dependence on electricity and heat energy from conventional sources, and contribute to the reduction of carbon emissions. The project of “Ecorepak” Ltd. will simultaneously contribute to reducing energy intensity and achieving greater sustainability of operations, limiting greenhouse gas emissions and supporting the acceleration of the transition to climate neutrality, while increasing the company’s competitiveness.
