"Katsarov & Son" Ltd., headquartered in the city of Plovdiv and with a main economic activity of technical maintenance and repair of cars (KID 45.20), plans to implement a project to increase energy efficiency and use energy from renewable sources within its car service. Within the framework of the project, the company will invest in a photovoltaic power plant (PVPP) with an inverter capacity of 50 kW and an energy storage system (batteries) with a total capacity of 61.4 kWh, as well as install four high-efficiency air-to-air heat pumps with a total capacity of 16.11 kW. The implementation of the project will allow Katsarov & Son Ltd. to produce and use its own green electricity for the needs of its activities, thus reducing energy costs and dependence on external suppliers. The investment will also ensure more efficient heating and cooling of service and office premises through the implementation of energy-efficient heat pump systems. The project will lead to increased energy efficiency, reduced carbon footprint and limited greenhouse gas emissions, while improving the sustainability and competitiveness of the enterprise. The initiative is fully consistent with the objectives of the Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises Programme 2021–2027 and will contribute to the transition to a green and low-carbon economy.
