This project aims to increase energy efficiency and reduce energy costs in the production building owned by Sigmatex-MC EOOD, located in the village of Slashchen, Satovcha municipality. The main activity of the company is classified under NACE 14.14 "Manufacture of underwear," which is an energy-intensive process and requires maintaining a suitable microclimate in the production premises. The building was put into operation before 1990 and, despite its structural stability, its envelope does not meet modern heat retention standards. This leads to significant heat loss, high heating costs in winter, and the need for more frequent cooling in summer. The project envisages the installation of facade thermal insulation with a total area of approximately 830 m², in accordance with the requirements of Annex 4.1, group 12 "Energy-efficient insulation systems". The selected insulation system will have a thickness of not less than 100 mm and a thermal conductivity coefficient λ ≤ 0.040 W/mK. The implementation of the project will result in: - a significant reduction in heat loss from the building envelope; - a reduction in energy consumption for heating and cooling; - an improvement in the microclimate and working conditions for employees; - a reduction in operating costs and the company's carbon footprint; - a contribution to the objectives of procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 for promoting energy efficiency and sustainable production. The project is fully compliant with the requirements of the procedure and will help the company achieve greater competitiveness by implementing environmentally responsible and energy-efficient solutions.
