“BCC 95” Ltd. is a family-owned company established in 1995, operating three production facilities with a total area exceeding 75,000 m². The company maintains a complex and energy-intensive production cycle that includes cold metal processing (cutting, bending, drilling, etc.), powder coating, tool manufacturing, and plastic injection molding. The project proposal aims to improve energy efficiency and increase the share of renewable energy used by constructing a photovoltaic power plant (PV system) with an installed capacity of 60 kWp and an energy storage system with a capacity of 215 kWh at the company’s production base located in Montana, “XXI vek” Street. This facility accounts for approximately 25% of the company’s total production output and has an annual electricity consumption of 172,440 kWh, compared to the company’s total consumption of 1,186,921 kWh for 2024. The investment includes the supply, installation, and commissioning of 60 kWp photovoltaic modules, two 30 kW three-phase inverters, a water-cooled battery, an aluminum supporting structure, an equipped panel with surge protection, a grounding system, and a monitoring and control system. The PV installation will be mounted on the roof of the production building, and all electricity generated will be used entirely for self-consumption, with no feed-in to the grid. The expected annual energy yield of the PV system exceeds 70,000 kWh, leading to substantial savings in electricity consumption at the site and a significant reduction in carbon emissions. The battery storage system will ensure optimal utilization of the generated energy and provide power stability during peak loads. The project is fully aligned with the “Do No Significant Harm” (DNSH) principle under Regulation (EU) 2021/1060 and contributes to the objectives of the Programme “Competitiveness and Innovations in Enterprises” 2021–2027, supporting the transition toward a low-carbon and sustainable economy.
