Description

The project proposal aims to increase energy efficiency and increase the share of energy used from renewable sources in the company's administrative building. The main activity of the company is the development of software products and mobile applications, which requires continuous operation of numerous computer systems, servers and air conditioning equipment. This leads to high electricity consumption and significant operating costs. The project envisages the installation of a 25 kWp photovoltaic power plant, an energy storage battery with a capacity of 25 kWh. The selected technologies will allow for partially autonomous power supply of the office, stabilization of energy flows and optimal consumption management.
The implementation of the investment will ensure:
-Reduction of electricity costs by up to 70% through own production of green energy;
-Improved energy independence and resilience to market fluctuations in electricity prices;
-Reduction of carbon emissions and contribution to achieving national and European goals for green transformation;
-Increased reliability of power supply, especially for server systems and key office equipment;
The project will contribute to the economic and environmental sustainability of the enterprise by ensuring real energy and financial savings, reducing dependence on external sources and establishing "BG Leeds" EOOD as a responsible company applying the principles of the green and digital transition.
The implementation of the project will also create additional prerequisites for the development of innovations and digital solutions, as the saved resources will be directed to the company's main activity - development of software products and mobile applications.
