The applicant under the project proposal is “Foresta Group” Ltd., a Bulgarian company established in 2020. The project will be implemented in Berkovitsa over a period of 12 months. The initiative is carried out under the Programme “Competitiveness and Innovations in Enterprises” 2021–2027, within the framework of procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 “Energy Efficiency and Use of Energy from Renewable Sources in Enterprises.” Project Description: The project of “Foresta Group” Ltd. aims to implement a photovoltaic system for self-consumption, including solar panels, inverters, and batteries for energy storage. The investment seeks to reduce the company’s dependence on external energy sources, optimize electricity costs, and contribute to improving the energy efficiency and sustainability of its production activities. The system will ensure the coverage of the company’s energy needs through the use of renewable energy, while the batteries will enable efficient storage and utilization of the generated electricity during periods of lower solar activity. The project fully aligns with the objectives of the procedure — enhancing energy efficiency, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, and promoting the use of renewable energy sources in the private sector.
