"CHIP MEBEL" EOOD is an established Bulgarian company, founded in 2003, with main activity production and trade of furniture, furniture panels, wood and consumables. The company offers high-quality services in cutting, edging and drilling of details, using modern machines with high productivity and precision. The company has an equipped production base, in which energy-intensive machines for cutting, edging, drilling and aspiration of wood dust operate, as well as lighting and air conditioning systems, necessary to maintain optimal working conditions. This leads to significant electricity consumption, which represents a significant share of operating costs. Taking in consideration the increasing prices of electricity and the need for more sustainable and competitive activity, the company plans an investment in the construction of a photovoltaic system for its own consumption and local energy storage facilities. This will allow: - reducing dependence on external power supply; - optimization of energy consumption and costs; - increasing the energy efficiency of the production base; - reducing the carbon footprint and contributing to the goals of the Green Transition. Through the implementation of the project, CHIP MEBEL EOOD will improve the competitiveness, sustainability and environmental efficiency of its activities by combining production processes with modern solutions for renewable energy and storage. The company plans to build a photovoltaic power plant (PVPP) with a capacity of 75kW on the roof structures of its own property, with the aim of producing electricity from a renewable source and energy storage facilities of 80kWh. The main objective of the project is to ensure partial or full coverage of the company's own energy needs and to reduce electricity costs, while at the same time limiting the carbon footprint of the activity.
