Description

The project of VEKO OIL EOOD envisages the construction of energy infrastructure in two automobile showrooms in Ruse and Gabrovo to optimize energy efficiency and increase the use of renewable energy in commercial activities.
Ruse Showroom – the company has constructed with its own funds a photovoltaic system with a capacity of 12.61 kW, which produces renewable energy, but due to the lack of battery storage a significant part of the produced energy is lost due to the restriction on returning energy to the grid. Through this project, the construction of local energy storage facilities with a capacity of 21 kWh combined with an inverter is planned. The battery system will accumulate excess energy during peak solar hours and use it during afternoon and evening peak hours when consumption increases and solar production declines. This will significantly increase the utilization of produced energy and provide autonomy during emergency outages.
Gabrovo Showroom – entirely dependent on grid power supply. Construction of a photovoltaic power plant with a capacity of 42.30 kWp, integrated with a 63 kWh battery system, is planned. The system will cover a significant part of the facility's annual consumption. The integrated battery will ensure full coverage of night-time consumption, high utilization of produced energy, and extended autonomy during outages.
Main benefits include: significant reduction in energy costs and grid dependence, energy security during interruptions, protection of expensive automobile equipment, reduction of carbon footprint, and compliance with the growing ESG requirements of automobile manufacturers KIA, SUBARU, Dongfeng, and Tenax towards their official dealers. The investment ensures long-term sustainability and competitiveness of the enterprise in the context of the energy crisis and increasing pressure for decarbonization in the automotive industry.
