The project proposal focuses on improving the energy efficiency and independence of a small enterprise – “ELIT” Ltd., operating in the manufacturing sector, specifically in the production of metal structures and parts thereof. The investment will be implemented at the company’s site in Gabrovo and involves the construction and commissioning of facilities for the generation of renewable photovoltaic energy for own consumption, with a total installed capacity of 30 kW, as well as local energy storage systems (batteries) combined with an inverter with a capacity of 197 kWh. The project complies with the horizontal principles pursuant to Article 9 of Regulation (EU) No. 2021/1060, as well as with the “do no significant harm” principle in all its aspects.
