The project aims to enhance the energy efficiency and energy independence of the applicant’s production facility (a commercial warehouse) by insulating the building envelope (doors and windows), replacing linear lighting fixtures, and constructing a photovoltaic power plant (PV system). The need arises from high energy costs, significant heat losses through the building envelope, as well as the necessity for more reliable and predictable energy supply and compliance with decarbonization requirements. The target groups of the project are the employees, whose working conditions will be improved, and the local community, due to lower emissions. Main Objectives: - Reduce energy consumption through energy-efficient enclosing elements for openings; - Generate clean electricity on-site and increase energy independence through a photovoltaic power plant; - Improve the indoor microclimate and reduce operational costs. Expected Results: 1. Significant reduction of heat losses and heating/cooling expenses; 2. Partial coverage of the facility’s electricity needs from renewable energy sources (RES), reduced CO₂ emissions, and a smaller carbon footprint; 3. Increased competitiveness and operational sustainability. Main Activities: - Supply and installation of doors and windows; - Construction of a rooftop photovoltaic power plant for self-consumption; - Supply and installation of linear lighting fixtures.
