Description

The project proposal of ATA-Service Ltd. envisages the construction of a photovoltaic power plant with an installed capacity of 50 kWp in combination with a battery system with a capacity of 76.8 kWh for own production and consumption of electricity in the company's new commercial and storage facility in the municipality of Rodopi, village of Markovo.
The company is a specialized wholesaler and distributor of ESD protection (electrostatic discharge protection) systems and products and disinfection solutions for the electronics and high-tech industries. The specific profile of the commercial activity requires significant electricity consumption - estimated at 75,000 - 80,000 kWh per year - for lighting, air conditioning and ventilation of storage areas, precision measuring equipment, technical workshop, office, and administrative infrastructure. The current energy crisis and high electricity prices threaten the profitability and competitiveness of the enterprise. The system is expected to produce 65,000-70,000 kWh per year, which will cover over 80% of the site's electricity needs.
The main benefits include: energy independence and protection from price fluctuations; significant reduction in operating costs; continuity of commercial operations through a battery storage system; increased competitiveness; reduction of CO₂ emissions; long-term economic sustainability.
The investment is fully in line with the objectives of the procedure to improve energy efficiency, increase the use of renewable energy, and transition to climate neutrality.
