The project proposal of ROVEN GROUP Ltd. is aimed at increasing the company’s energy efficiency and sustainability through the use of renewable energy sources for self-consumption. The investment will be implemented at the company’s site located in land plot UPI III–060002, “Alvan dere” area, Panicheri village, Hisarya Municipality, Plovdiv District, where the main activity includes the collection, sorting, cutting, baling, and preparation of metal waste for recycling, as well as export of the processed materials to steel plants in the EU. The investment proposal includes the construction of a photovoltaic power plant (PV) with a hybrid inverter (Group 16), featuring an installed panel capacity of 70.35 kWp (DC), inverter power of 70 kW (AC), and a battery system with a total capacity of 71.7 kWh. The system will be installed on the roofs of the production and storage buildings and will supply electricity to the entire facility, covering the majority of its energy needs. The generated electricity will be used entirely on-site to power shears, presses, plasma cutters, forklifts, lighting, and heating/cooling systems, thereby reducing dependency on external energy sources and mitigating the impact of high electricity prices. The implementation of the project will enable ROVEN GROUP Ltd. to reduce its energy costs, increase production capacity through optimal equipment utilization, and minimize its environmental footprint by reducing the use of diesel-powered machinery. The project is fully aligned with the objectives of the procedure and will contribute to enhanced energy independence, competitiveness, and sustainable development of the enterprise.
