DOMUS NG Ltd plans to implement an integrated energy solution at its site in Ravno Pole, Elin Pelin Municipality (Industrial Zone 2, former farm yard), targeting a lasting reduction of energy costs and carbon footprint, and higher energy autonomy. The project combines two complementary investments under the procedure’s catalogue: (i) a 30 kWp photovoltaic (PV) system with battery energy storage (Category 16) for self-consumption and (ii) a water-cooled chiller with ~25 kW cooling capacity (Category 6) to improve the energy efficiency of cooling. The PV system will include modules, a bidirectional inverter, a battery energy storage system (BESS), electrical protections and smart metering. An Energy Management System (EMS) will optimize battery charge/discharge and inverter operation to maximise self-consumption, enable peak shaving and load shifting. The scope covers design, delivery, installation, commissioning, tuning, measurements, staff training, and full documentation for monitoring and subsequent control. The water-cooled chiller will replace/supplement existing equipment to reduce the specific energy use of chilled-water production. The unit will operate with high seasonal efficiency, automation and load-based modulation, and will be integrated into the existing hydronic system. Expected outcomes include a material decrease in grid electricity purchases, optimisation of peak demand, lower OPEX, improved process reliability, and reduced greenhouse-gas emissions. The project is aligned with the procedure’s eligibility rules, including self-consumption requirements and commitments for monitoring and sustainability. Its implementation will deliver measurable energy efficiency gains and clear added value for DOMUS NG Ltd.
