The project "Improving energy efficiency in KIOG Ltd. and using energy from renewable sources" aims to: "Ensuring energy independence and sustainability of KIOG Ltd., through modern technologies for efficiency and own production of electricity". The main goal will be achieved through the following specific objectives: 1. To optimize the consumption and costs of electricity in one of the activities and warehouses of the company, where there is an increase and problems, in order to increase energy efficiency and achieve sustainable development of the enterprise 2. To ensure energy independence of the company, through the use of electricity from a renewable source To achieve the planned goals, measures are planned to be taken from activities for the purchase and provision of a new roof structure of insulating panels, replacement of the obsolete lighting of the warehouse with a new significantly more energy-saving one, replacement of the old metal door of the warehouse with a new thermally insulating one, installation of a heat pump for cooling and heating and construction of a 30kW photovoltaic power plant for own consumption. As a result of the implementation of the project measures, it is expected that: - the company will increase its energy efficiency in one of its key locations, which is the warehouse in the city of Blagoevgrad; - optimization of energy consumption by over 50% - achieving environmentally sustainable development of the company, thereby contributing to the transition to climate neutrality by reducing the carbon footprint - reducing electricity costs at the company's warehouse in the city of Blagoevgrad by over 70%. The achievement of these results will directly correspond to the expected results of the grant procedure, as well as the Energy Union for secure, sustainable, competitive and affordable energy.
