Programme: Programme "Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises" 2021-2027

Planning region: All

Description

This project proposal is aimed at increasing the competitiveness of the company "STEFAN VALCHEV-2005" EOOD through support for the implementation of energy-efficient equipment and the use of energy from renewable sources. The main economic activity code of the enterprise is 31.09 - "Manufacture of other furniture". The company has a long history, accumulated experience and traditions in the production of stylish solid wood furniture. In recent years, Bulgarian furniture manufacturers have faced the challenges of growing international competition in terms of functionality, reliability and prices, as well as the requirements of a number of European standards. A distinctive feature in the functioning of the furniture company "STEFAN VALCHEV-2005" EOOD is the high energy intensity of production, associated with the need for a significant amount of energy for the operation of woodworking machines and for heating the premises. At the moment, “STEFAN VALCHEV-2005” EOOD cannot respond independently to these trends in increasing energy consumption. This determines the company's needs for the purchase and commissioning of innovative energy-efficient equipment - biomass boilers, as well as the construction of a Photovoltaic Power Plant /PVPP/ for own needs with a capacity of 38.00 kW (including solar panels, inverters, batteries and other components necessary for the operation of the plant). On this basis, it is expected to increase the productivity and efficiency of the family company "STEFAN VALCHEV-2005" EOOD, to reduce production costs, to increase competitiveness and to reduce the energy intensity of the enterprise.
