"Caps - Lovech" Ltd. is a manufacturing company, whose activities started in 1995 and is focused on the production of heat-shrinkable PCV capsules and aluminum screw caps. The company serves the private sector, with its main clients being the wine, pharmaceutical and food industries. The company has a production base for the implementation of its business, located on 12 acres in the town of Lovech. The company is constantly investing in improving production processes in order to meet current production trends in the industry and the development of consumer demand. In the context of the growing requirements for energy efficiency and sustainable production, the company consistently invests in optimizing its production processes and modernizing the building stock. The current project under procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 "Energy efficiency and use of energy from renewable sources in enterprises" is aimed at the implementation of measures to improve the energy characteristics of the production building of "Caps - Lovech" Ltd. The main goal is to achieve a significant reduction in energy costs, improve thermal comfort and increase competitiveness through effective management of energy resources. The following activities will be implemented within the framework of the project: - Thermal insulation of the roof of the production hall by laying 100 mm thick mineral wool sandwich panels on an area of 682 m². - Delivery and installation of a sectional door with an area of 6.12 m² and a heat transfer coefficient U = 2.00 W/m²K, which will replace the existing metal door with low thermal insulation properties. - Delivery and installation of a compressor - 15 kW. With the implementation of the project, Kaps - Lovech OOD will reduce its energy costs, improve the operational characteristics of the building and contribute to the implementation of national and European goals in the field of energy efficiency and the green transition.
