Valian Ltd. was founded in 1999 as a family company. Today, we are one of the largest Bulgarian manufacturers of prestigious luxury furniture and complete furnishings for private homes, hotels, offices, and institutions. Our wide range of products includes both production suitable for the hospitality sector and unique designs created by us or various external designers. We have fulfilled our investment plan and created Bulgaria's first furniture factory with a production waste quantity close to 0%. The materials used to construct our production facilities and the equipment we use are also chosen to comply with modern trends for minimizing harm to the environment and maximizing material utilization without generating waste. The main objective of this project is to install a battery energy storage system (BESS) with a capacity of 261 kWh, connected to an existing photovoltaic (PV) power plant. The energy from this system will be used entirely for our own needs. This will make our renewable energy production even more efficient as it will provide the possibility to store surplus energy, for example, on weekends when there is no consumption. As a result, we will be able to achieve an even higher level of energy independence and maximum climate neutrality in our operations. The implementation of this project will provide us with access to sustainable and economically affordable energy, the opportunity to overcome the seasonality and inconsistency of solar PV energy production, ensure energy security for the operation of the company's assets, and reduce the cost price of our production. The project encompasses a single activity: the installation of a local renewable energy storage system for self-consumption. The installation of this system is key for us as it will lead to a significant level of optimization regarding the consumption of the produced renewable energy.
