Programme: Programme "Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises" 2021-2027

Planning region: All

Description

The project proposal envisages increasing energy efficiency in the activities of the candidate company, thereby accelerating the transition of the private sector to climate neutrality by reducing the carbon footprint, optimizing energy consumption and the energy mix of enterprises. The project will implement an energy-efficient floor insulation system in the applicant's warehouse, which will lead to a reduction in energy intensity and operating costs by limiting heat/cold losses that cause large temperature amplitudes, as well as improving the competitiveness of the enterprise by eliminating the causes of an energy-inefficient environment and ensuring stable temperature conditions suitable for the storage and quality of products.
The project proposal is in line with the objectives of the procedure "Energy efficiency and use of energy from renewable sources in enterprises", since the implementation of specific measures in the field of energy transition is important not only from the point of view of preventing climate change, but also to reduce the country's vulnerability to fluctuations in fossil fuel prices. In this regard, the implementation of investments aimed at increasing energy efficiency in the enterprise becomes a mandatory factor on the path to its sustainable development.
The investments under this project proposal comply with the requirements of the principle of "no significant harm" to the environment.
