Elektrogets EOOD, Sofia, is a well-established Bulgarian company with over 30 years of experience in the manufacture of electrical equipment – electrical panels, transformer stations, and power distribution systems. In recent years, the company has faced a number of challenges arising from the dynamics of the energy market and the significant increase in electricity prices, especially in the electricity distribution sector. This has led to an increase in production costs and has had a direct impact on the company's profitability and competitiveness in both the domestic and international markets. In order to increase energy independence, operational sustainability, and better cost control, Elektrogets EOOD plans to invest in the implementation of a photovoltaic power plant (PVPP) with an installed capacity of 100 kW (inverter output power), designed to cover the company's own energy needs. Main objective: To increase the use of energy from renewable sources (RES), thereby accelerating the private sector's transition to climate neutrality by reducing its carbon footprint, optimising energy consumption and increasing RES in the applicant's energy mix. Target group: Medium-sized enterprise – Elektrogets EOOD and its employees engaged in the manufacture of electrical equipment. Expected results: Construction and commissioning of a photovoltaic power plant (PVPP) with a capacity of 100 kW (inverter output power); Reduced electricity consumption from the public grid; Reduced operating costs and increased energy independence; Increased sustainability and competitiveness of Elektrogets EOOD.
