The project of ET VESKA ALEKSOVA-SEVERINA KEREMIDARSKA will satisfy the need to reduce energy consumption costs for heating/cooling of the family hotel "Lazur", which will have a positive impact on the competitiveness of the enterprise. Improving the energy performance of the roof will improve the energy efficiency of the building and ensure a reduction in energy costs. The construction of a 30 KW combined heat and power plant will significantly reduce the hotel's electricity costs. The purchase of local facilities for storing the produced energy /battery with inverter/ 61.44 KW will enable the company to increasingly use solar energy during the dark part of the day. The main objective of the project proposal is to improve the energy efficiency of the Lazur Hotel, thereby accelerating the company's transition to climate neutrality by reducing its carbon footprint, and to help the company maintain its competitiveness by reducing its vulnerability to rising electricity prices through the use of renewable energy. Specific objectives: Improving the energy performance of the Lazur Hotel roof; Reducing the annual consumption of primary electricity for the needs of the hotel; Increasing the competitiveness of the company. Activities: Construction and demolition activities to improve the energy performance of the hotel roof; Construction and demolition of the 30 kW photovoltaic power plant; Purchasing a 61.44 KW battery with an inverter to cover an additional part of the hotel's costs during the dark part of the day. Expected results: Improved energy efficiency; Reduced annual electricity consumption; Better microclimate for customers and employees; Increased competitiveness of the company; Reduced greenhouse gas emissions while respecting the "no significant harm principle". The project proposal is in line with the horizontal principles set out in Article 9 of Regulation (EU) 2021/1060 of the European Parliament and of the Council.
