The project envisages the construction and commissioning of a photovoltaic power plant (PVPP) with an installed capacity of 50 KW, tailored to the energy needs of the production base of "AMATA" OOD in the city of Varna, in combination with an energy storage system using batteries. The main objective of the project is to ensure long-term energy efficiency, reduce operating costs for electricity and increase the sustainability and autonomy of the production process. Given the company's activities - production of PET bottles, bottling of beverages, water and vinegar - which are associated with high daily electricity consumption, the photovoltaic system will be designed to cover the maximum share of daily consumption, including powering production lines, compressors, cooling systems, air conditioning, lighting and auxiliary equipment. The integrated system (PVPP + batteries) allows for easy expansion in the future, for example by adding additional solar panels or increasing the capacity of the batteries, in line with the growing energy needs of the enterprise. The project will contribute to the optimization of energy costs, which is strategically important in the context of rising market prices and energy insecurity. In addition to the economic benefits, the implementation of a renewable energy source will reduce the carbon footprint of the enterprise, in line with the national and European goals for sustainable development, energy transformation and climate neutrality. With the implementation of this investment, AMATA OOD will not only modernize its energy infrastructure, but will also strengthen its commitment to environmentally responsible production, which is increasingly valued by partners, customers and consumers.
