Bulstroy SMK JCS is an established construction company with many years of experience in the field of engineering, industrial, and infrastructure construction, as well as in the manufacture of products and components for the construction sector. The company operates in accordance with modern standards for energy efficiency, sustainability, and environmentally responsible production, consistently investing in improving its material base and introducing innovative technologies. The current project aims to increase the company's independence from external energy sources by integrating renewable energy technologies and energy storage systems. The company plans to invest in: - Photovoltaic panels in combination with inverter(s) – with an installed capacity of 45 kW on the direct current side; - Local energy storage facilities (batteries) in combination with inverter(s) – with a total maximum capacity of 90 kW. The installation will be located on the already renovated massive production building, part of the company's base. The energy produced by the photovoltaic system will be used for the company's own needs, with the main consumer being the adjacent concrete plant, which functions as a key link in the production process and is a significant consumer of electricity. The investment amounts to BGN 162859.05 over a period of 12 months and will result in: - an increase in the share of green energy used in the company's total energy consumption; - improved energy efficiency through better consumption management and reduction of energy peaks; - a reduction in the carbon footprint of production activities; - strengthening of energy independence and production stability; - a reduction in production costs and an increase in the company's competitiveness.
