Programme: Programme "Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises" 2021-2027

Planning region: All

Description

The current project focuses on the purchase and installation of a photovoltaic power plant (PVPP), an energy storage system (battery with inverter) at the Electrotherm Varna OOD plant and the replacement of old fluorescent lighting in production workshop 1.

This is a comprehensive investment in the energy efficiency of the production workshop of Electrotherm Varna OOD. The initiative includes three main steps: the purchase of photovoltaic power and a battery for energy storage, as well as the complete replacement of the existing inefficient fluorescent lighting with modern LED technology.

This will make us more independent of the energy flows of the electricity distribution network to meet production needs. The new PVPP will generate green energy, which will be used primarily to power production processes, and the battery will store the surplus for consumption at night or during low solar activity, and thus reduce the risks of outages. In parallel, replacing the lighting with super-efficient LED lamps will reduce the factory's energy load, which will further increase the share of its own green energy in total consumption.

In this way, the project will not only reduce costs, but also create better working conditions, while overall increasing the energy independence and sustainability of the enterprise.
