The implementation of technology for the processing of essential oils by extracting essential oils from plants, such as cryogenic extraction and supercritical carbon dioxide extraction (CO2 SCFE), falls within the scope of the company's core business (KID 2053 Essential oil production) while significantly upgrading the current production processes and will increase the company's market competitiveness by offering higher quality, efficient and environmentally sustainable products.
The process consists of the implementation of advanced technology for the extraction of essential oils from plants, such as cryogenic extraction and supercritical carbon dioxide extraction (CO2 SCFE), and the implementation of a plant for the production of phenyl ethyl alcohol from the wastewater produced during the production of rose oil, as a downstream process. The project falls under the Thematic Area 'Healthy Living Industries, Bioeconomy and Biotechnology'; sub-area: 'Biotechnology with direct application for healthy living'. The successful implementation of the project will contribute to improving the quality of the goods and services offered, increase its productivity and competitiveness and increase its market share.
