VIKRIS-NK Ltd. Is an enterprise developing its business activity in the food industry – manufacturing waffle cones, molds for pre-packed, scooped, and gelato ice cream, and kadaif. The production process is highly energy-intensive and involves the operation of a number of electrical machines – ovens, mixers, dispensers, conveyors, and cooling systems – in continuous operation. The main challenge facing the company is the high cost of electricity and the sensitivity of the business to fluctuations in electricity prices. This has a direct impact on the cost of production and reduces the company's competitiveness. In order to significantly reduce electricity costs and optimize the profitability of its production, the company plans to invest in "Photovoltaic panels in combination with an inverter" for the production of energy from renewable sources for its own consumption. This investment will significantly reduce electricity costs, lower the cost of finished products, and optimize the factory's production capacity, which will make it possible to increase the volume of orders accepted and fulfilled for the company's contractors. The project aims at improving the energy efficiency of the enterprise and reducing electricity costs, while contributing to the achievement of national and European goals in the field of circular economy and environment protection. This is a key investment in the context of the green transition, as it contributes to the fight against climate change and the introduction of sustainable production practices in the country, and is particularly necessary and timely given the growing trend for consumers to seek environmentally friendly products.
