The project proposal of SMART BUSINESS COMPANY EOOD aims to increase the energy efficiency and sustainability of the company's activities by implementing a local electricity storage facility (battery) with an inverter for own consumption. The investment will be implemented in its own building in the city of Gabrovo, used for commercial, administrative and warehouse activities. The current project envisages the purchase of a battery with a capacity of 157 kWh for a photovoltaic power plant (PVPP) with a total capacity of 682 kWp for own consumption, which will ensure optimal use of the energy produced, reduce electricity costs and guarantee continuity of processes during peak loads or power outages. The investment aims to increase the energy independence of the company and optimize electricity costs by balancing the load and storing energy produced from renewable sources. The project is fully consistent with the objectives of the procedure "Energy efficiency and use of energy from renewable sources in enterprises", and will contribute to accelerating the transition to climate neutrality by: - reducing carbon emissions through the use of clean energy; - increasing the energy independence and sustainability of the enterprise; - significantly optimizing electricity costs and reducing vulnerability to price fluctuations; - improving the competitiveness and long-term sustainable development of the company.
