The project of "EQUATOR GAS" EOOD is aimed at increasing energy efficiency and using energy from renewable sources (RES) at the company's sites. The main goal is to achieve optimization of energy consumption, reduce electricity costs and limit the company's carbon footprint. Two key investment measures will be implemented within the framework of the project: 1. Replacement of existing lighting with energy-saving LED lighting fixtures, providing high illumination at significantly lower electricity consumption. 2. Construction of a photovoltaic power plant (PVPP) for own consumption, including solar panels, inverters, batteries and auxiliary components. The electricity produced will be used entirely for the company's internal needs, contributing to increasing the company's energy independence and sustainability. The implementation of the project will lead to a significant reduction in energy consumption and energy costs, increased operational efficiency and reduced greenhouse gas (CO₂) emissions. The implemented measures are expected to ensure a sustainable improvement in the energy performance of the enterprise, while at the same time increasing its competitiveness and supporting the transition to a low-carbon and resource-efficient economy. The implementation of the project will have a long-term economic and environmental impact, ensuring: - sustainable reduction in energy costs; - reduction in carbon emissions; - more efficient use of resources; - establishment of "EQUATOR GAS" EOOD as a responsible and modern enterprise, applying the principles of the green transition and the circular economy. The project is fully consistent with the objectives of procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 under the Program "Competitiveness and Innovation in Enterprises" 2021–2027 and will have a long-term positive economic and environmental impact.
