"Vegetables" Ltd. has a history of nearly 20 years in the field of trading, logistics and management of warehouses in the city of Shumen. In this time we have invested funds and efforts into building up and maintaining of our own logistics center in the city. The development of the center, along with administering and maintaining our own warehouses has gradually become the company's primary activity. As of 2024 this is our only activity with 100% of our income with an economic activity code of 68.20 - lending out and exploitation of owned real estate. The project proposal will be conducted under this economic activity code. Managing the center and customers' merchandise is done entirely by our staff. We also perform loading and unloading, internal transportation, and care for the good condition of packaging. We have already invested in two photovoltaic power plants for our own needs only, thus ensuring the need for electricity for our activities. Therefore, under the current procedure, we are applying for investments in energy-efficient insulation systems in buildings - thermal insulation systems made of sandwich panels for walls, also for the roof, as well as in doors. The investment is in accordance with point 12 of Appendix 4.1 - List of eligible asset categories. The planned energy-efficient measures have been needed for a long time, but are too expensive to be implemented with company funds alone, given the large other ongoing costs for the implementation of ongoing active projects. After the implementation of the project investments, energy efficiency in the enterprise will increase, and smaller amounts of electrical energy will be used for heating and cooling. The energy savings achieved can be redirected to improving other processes in our operations and increasing the competitiveness of the enterprise.
