MAZALAT AD is a construction company with many years of experience in the production and supply of building materials, products, and solutions for energy-efficient and sustainable construction. This project is a natural continuation of the company's targeted corporate strategy to implement new-generation energy technologies that will ensure greater independence, efficiency, and environmental sustainability in production. Under this procedure, the company plans to finance photovoltaic panels in combination with inverters with an installed capacity of 45 kW and local energy storage facilities (batteries) in combination with an inverter with a total maximum capacity of 90 kWh. The installation will be located on the roof of a building leased on a long-term basis to the company, which is used as part of the company's production base. The energy generated by the photovoltaic system and stored in the batteries will power the concrete plant, which is the main energy-intensive facility in the operations of MAZALAT Ltd. The project proposal fully achieves the following: - increasing the energy efficiency of production processes through the use of RES and storage systems; - contributing to the transition to climate neutrality and reducing the carbon footprint of industrial activity; - improving the sustainability and energy independence of the enterprise; - reducing the vulnerability of the private sector to price fluctuations in fossil fuels; - supporting the achievement of the objectives of the Energy Union and the Integrated National Energy and Climate Plan for the period 2021-2030. The current investment amounts to BGN 162859.05 and will be implemented over a period of 12 months. It is a step towards MAZALAT Ltd 's long-term vision for energy-efficient and sustainable production, confirming the company's position as a responsible and modern industrial manufacturer that contributes to the achievement of national and European green transition goals.
