CHAM - 1 LTD is an enterprise with over 15 years of experience in the production of wooden joinery and interior doors. The company develops its main economic activity in sector C "Manufacturing industry", under the code of the National Classification of Economic Activities (KID-2008): 16.23 "Manufacture of joinery and other wood products for construction". Specifically, the company specializes in the production of multi-layer wooden joinery with double glazing, wooden shutters, interior and entrance doors made of solid wood, natural veneer, MDF and others. Energy costs are a significant part of the company's total costs, and the price fluctuations of electricity in recent years have a direct impact on the cost of production and the competitiveness of the company. At the moment, the company does not have its own photovoltaic power plant, which makes it highly dependent on external electricity supplies and faces significant energy consumption costs. In order to meet the above challenges and improve its energy efficiency, the company is applying under procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 "Energy efficiency and use of energy from renewable sources in enterprises". The project proposal envisages the acquisition of a 56 kW photovoltaic power plant (PVPP), including photovoltaic modules, inverters, a storage system (battery) and a mounting structure, according to the List of eligible asset categories.
