The project of Interior 46 Design Ltd. envisages the implementation of energy efficiency measures in the company’s production facility in Ruse. The enterprise is a small company operating under NACE 31.02 – Manufacture of kitchen furniture, producing a wide range of furniture tailored to modern requirements for functionality, design, and quality. The production activity is associated with significant energy consumption due to the use of compressed air systems in the manufacturing process. The existing equipment is energy-intensive and has limited efficiency, resulting in high electricity costs and increasing the production cost of the final products. To address this, the project foresees an investment in modern compressors with inverter control and dryer, as well as receivers. These assets will ensure more economical and optimized operation of the production systems by reducing specific energy consumption and improving the quality of compressed air. The expected results of the project implementation include: • significant reduction of energy consumption and operational costs; • improved energy efficiency and sustainability of the production process; • reduction of carbon emissions and contribution to the goals of the green transition; • enhanced competitiveness of the enterprise through the introduction of modern, high-efficiency technologies. The project is fully in line with the objectives of procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 “Energy Efficiency and Use of Renewable Energy in Enterprises” and with the “Do No Significant Harm” (DNSH) principle.
