The project proposal envisages an investment in a photovoltaic system with an installed capacity of 145 kW, consisting of photovoltaic panels combined with inverters, designed to produce electricity for the company’s own consumption. The system will be installed on the roof structure of the production facility and will contribute to a significant reduction in electricity costs and the carbon footprint of the company’s operations. The photovoltaic modules will have an efficiency of ≥ 20%, a product warranty of at least 12 years, and a guaranteed operational lifetime exceeding 25 years with a linear degradation rate of ≤ 0.6% per year. The inverters will feature an efficiency of ≥ 96%, the capability to prevent electricity feed-back into the grid, and a product warranty of at least 10 years, in compliance with the technical requirements set out in Annex 4.1. The investment is fully aligned with the objectives of procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 – “Energy Efficiency and Use of Renewable Energy in Enterprises”, and will contribute to increasing the share of renewable energy and enhancing the company’s energy independence. The system is expected to cover over 70% of the company’s annual electricity consumption, with the generated energy being used exclusively for own needs, in accordance with the requirements of the procedure. Through the implementation of the project, the company will achieve a reduction of carbon emissions, improved competitiveness and operational sustainability, and will contribute to the transition towards a low-carbon economy, in compliance with the “Do No Significant Harm” principle and the European Green Deal.
