BRATIN Ltd. is a company engaged in furniture manufacturing. In order to expand its operations, the company has acquired an existing production building that will be adapted for the needs of furniture production. At present, the building does not meet modern energy efficiency standards, resulting in high heat losses and inefficient use of energy. To improve energy efficiency, reduce carbon emissions and energy costs, BRATIN Ltd. plans to implement a project under procedure BG16RFPR001-2.004 “Energy Efficiency and Use of Energy from Renewable Sources in Enterprises.” The investment provides for the implementation of the following activities related to the supply and installation of the respective assets: - Thermal insulation of external walls with sandwich panels, reducing heat losses and improving the building’s energy performance; - Replacement of the existing windows with aluminium frames with a thermal break, reducing the penetration of outside air and improving the thermal insulation of the building’s exterior walls; - Replacement of two solid doors and one sectional industrial door with high-efficiency components contributing to lower energy losses; Installation of a 50 kW biomass boiler with a buffer tank, providing heating based on renewable energy sources; - Rotary air compressor with air receiver and dryer, optimizing energy consumption during the operation of pneumatic equipment; - Energy-saving LED linear luminaires, providing optimal illumination with low energy consumption. The implementation of the project will result in a significant reduction in energy consumption and carbon emissions, increased energy independence, and improved resource efficiency of the enterprise. The project is fully consistent with the objectives of the procedure and will contribute to the energy transition and sustainable development of BRATIN Ltd.
