The project proposal of “STROITELNI SISTEMI I INZHENERING”Ltd. is aimed at improving the energy efficiency and sustainability of its production activities through the implementation of modern thermal insulation technologies and optimization of energy consumption in the premises used by the company for the manufacture of furniture for homes, offices, and gardens (NACE 31.01). The premises have an area of approximately 600 sq.m., comprising an administrative section, production areas, and storage zones where operations such as cutting, sizing, drilling, assembling, varnishing, and painting of furniture products are carried out. The building is an old industrial structure with a panel framework and brick walls lacking thermal insulation, which leads to significant heat losses, moisture penetration, and inefficient heating. Heating and cooling are provided by electric and gas appliances, which are low in efficiency and result in high energy costs. The project foresees the implementation of an energy-saving measure, including the delivery and installation of energy-efficient sandwich panels with a total area of 665 sq.m, to be used for the thermal insulation of the façade of the production premises. The panels will ensure sealing of the building envelope, elimination of thermal bridges, and substantial reduction of heat losses, thereby improving the indoor microclimate and creating better conditions for work, material storage, and finished product preservation. The implementation of the project will lead to the optimization of energy consumption, reduction of heating and cooling costs, improvement of the building’s energy performance, and enhancement of workplace safety and comfort. The project is fully aligned with the objectives of the procedure “Energy Efficiency and Use of Energy from Renewable Sources in Enterprises” and with the “Do No Significant Harm” principle, promoting sustainable development, technological modernization, and responsible use of energy resources.
