The candidate is a small enterprise specialized in the design, production, delivery, and installation of high-quality wooden products for the construction sector, which requires significant electrical consumption to drive machines, dryers, and automated processes. The current annual energy consumption of the enterprise is 120,000 kWh, caused by energy-intensive processes such as technological preparation of wood and mechanical processing. Dependence on the national grid leads to high operational costs (up to 2.5% of production costs), volatile prices, and CO₂ emissions that threaten competitiveness. Main activities: Acquisition and installation of a photovoltaic power plant (PVPP) with a capacity of 60 kW (solar panels, inverters). Installation of local energy storage facilities (batteries) in combination with inverters for consumption optimization. Expected results and benefits: Production of 78,000 kWh/year from renewable energy sources (RES), covering up to 65% of the annual consumption. Reduction of energy costs by up to 65%, with a return on investment under 5 years. Reduction of CO₂ emissions by 28 tons/year, contributing to climate neutrality by 2050. Improvement of the ecological profile, reduction of risks from sanctions under the Energy Efficiency Directive (EED), and increase of competitiveness in the construction sector. The implementation of project activities will accelerate the transition to a sustainable economy, stimulating regional development, improving energy efficiency, and increasing the use of energy from renewable sources for the company's own needs. Enhancing competitiveness and reducing energy intensity.
