In the context of a significant increase in electricity prices and increasing uncertainty in energy markets, electricity costs represent a serious challenge for the sustainable operation of the enterprise. Ensuring reliable and cost-effective access to electricity is of critical importance for maintaining the continuity of production processes and optimizing costs. The investment in the construction of a rooftop photovoltaic power plant of the sixth category with a local energy storage facility aims to ensure a significant reduction in electricity costs and increase the energy independence of the enterprise. The power plant will have a capacity of 100 kW, with two hybrid three-phase inverters and a distribution of panels in 10 strings, which allows for optimal absorption of solar energy within the expected approximately 2300 hours of sunshine for the area. 2 pcs. 50 kWh batteries will provide flexibility and overcome the variability of production from renewable sources. The produced electricity will be used entirely for the production building's own consumption, which will reduce dependence on external suppliers and ensure predictability and stability in production processes. The reliability of the system is ensured by appropriate construction, integrated grounding installation. The additional lightning protection installation of the 3rd group with a radius of action of 50 m guarantees the safety of the equipment. The implementation of the project corresponds to the objectives of the procedure, optimizing energy consumption by using energy from a renewable source for own consumption, reducing the company's carbon footprint, increasing the share of renewable energy in the energy mix and improving competitiveness by reducing electricity costs and increasing independence from fluctuations in fossil fuel prices.
