The project of “LABEL” Ltd. foresees the implementation of measures to improve energy efficiency and utilize energy from renewable sources in the company’s production facility. The company carries out its main activity under NACE code 18.12 – Printing of other publications and printed products, operating a modern technological base of 1,000 sq. m. and possessing over 30 years of experience in the production of advertising materials. The services offered include large-format printing, prepress preparation, offset printing, flexographic printing, digital printing, and more. For the purpose of sustainable development and reducing energy costs, the project proposal includes: -the supply and commissioning of energy-efficient compressed air compressors, including storage tanks; -the construction of a photovoltaic system with panels and inverters for self-production of electricity; -the implementation of local energy storage facilities – batteries combined with inverters. The expected results of the project implementation include: -reduction of energy consumption from non-renewable sources and associated operational costs; -improvement of energy efficiency in core and auxiliary production processes; -extension of the service life of production equipment; -enhancement of the working environment for employees; -reduction of the company’s carbon footprint. The investment is fully in line with the “do no significant harm” (DNSH) principle regarding the environment, complies with all applicable environmental requirements, and will contribute to achieving national and European goals for energy efficiency and sustainable development. Through the implementation of this project, “LABEL” Ltd. will increase its resource efficiency, optimize production costs, and strengthen its position as a competitive enterprise adapted to the requirements of the low-carbon economy.
