The project proposal of Raztrans Ltd. aims to support the company’s transition towards a sustainable and low-carbon operational model through the construction and commissioning of a Photovoltaic Power Plant (PVPP) with nominal AC output power of the inverter 60 kW, designed to generate electricity for own consumption at the company’s logistics base. Raztrans Ltd. provides transport services both within Bulgaria and abroad. The company operates a large logistics base, which includes an administrative building, garage facilities, service area, and logistics warehouse. Electricity consumption represents a significant part of the company’s operational costs. The photovoltaic power plant (PVPP) is planned to be installed on a section of the roof of a building owned by Raztrans Ltd., which serves as a warehouse area with an adjacent loading and unloading ramp supporting the company’s logistics operations. The implementation of the project does not require the construction of any new technical infrastructure, such as roads, gas pipelines, water supply systems, power lines, transformer stations, or other related facilities. The PVPP will be mounted on the roof with a south-facing orientation, optimized according to the site’s solar exposure. The implementation of the project will contribute to increasing energy efficiency, reducing the carbon footprint, and enhancing the company’s competitiveness. The expected results after the project implementation are: - Generation of approximately 50% of the company’s annual electricity demand from renewable sources; - Reduction of greenhouse gas emissions by about 32.8 tCO₂e per year; - Reduction of energy costs by approximately 50%; - Improved energy independence and security of supply; - Enhanced sustainability and competitiveness of the company.
